Description
This is a very rare Hollies vinyl LP titled "Would You Believe" on the German Odeon label catalog number SMO-74160, a first pressing Stereo from 1966. This record is very rare plus there is a printing error on the record labels. The song titles for side 1 are listed as side 2 and titles for side 2 are listed as side 1. The jacket has the correct sequence (see pictures).
German Odeon records of this period were pressed on extra thick vinyl. I purchased the record new in Germany in 1966 while on active duty with the US Army. It has been played exclusively on high end turntables and is very clean with only a few minor scuffs on the surface. The record makes only light stylus on vinyl sounds and occasional light clicking. The labels are in like new condition. This remains a great sounding record at high volume.
The outer jacket front is excellent. The jacket rear has minor ring wear at the top and bottom (see pictures). The jacket is solid with perfect seams. The original inner sleeve with ads for other Odeon releases is intact and in perfect condition.
This is a really nice record very suitable for framing.
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
Shipping to the USA will be via USPS Media Mail.
