When the sixties were awakening from the rock and roll era and showing the character of the decade, The Beatles and Beach Boys had become the high bar in music and fashion on both sides of the Atlantic.
However there were others making fantastic sounds and moves - The Bee Gees, Steve Miller Band, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Jefferson Airplane and yes, The HOLLIES made their own
giant steps.
'EVOLUTION' is a WONDERFUL album which exemplified the Swinging Sixties culture - rhythmically involving and inventive, effects, lovely vocals, insistent music that's a MUST for enthusiasts of the best of pop psych rock.
Highly recommended, a wonderful album!

The VINYL surface is in LOVELY clean condition, NEAR MINT and this plays well and sounds terrific.
The classic black and yellow PARLOPHONE Lables with silver text are EXCELLENT.
