This listing is $250.00 Buy It Now OBO.

For sale is one of the greatest box sets of Chicago House Music ever released, "The History Of The House Sound Of Chicago" (..."From The Very Beginning"). This Special Limited Edition box set contains 120 Tracks on TWELVE 12" records, comes with the original 18 page 12x12" booklet.

The tracks in this box set are the absolute cornerstone of the House that Jack built. There are some of the most iconic, pioneering and amazing Chicago House tracks ever produced right here in this 12 LP box set. Classics from Fingers Inc, Phuture, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Rhythim Is Rhythim, Adonis, Chip E, Tyree, Steve 'Silk' Hurley, D Train, Loleatta Holloway , Criminal Element Orchestra, Fast Eddie, Bam Bam, Cerrone  & D Mob to name just a handful of talented producers in this set. I am guessing that if you are this far into the description you know this box set already. ;)

The Box.
The box is in overall good condition. The corner edges have seperated from each other over the years. The cover isn't flawless. The condition of wear on this box is pretty good considering it's 25 years old.

The 12"x12" Booklet insert.
The booklet is also is great condition. No tears, rips, stains or creases. The edges are still pretty crisp. It gives a great look into the early labels like DJ International, Trax, & DJ Underground. It is the "who's who" of early House Music. I highlighted the tracks I wanted to record as seen in the photos. No other markings.

The Records.
I am not a professional record store or a professional record grader. The 12 records in this box set are easily NM or EX condition. This has been in my record collection since I started mixing House Music back in 1993. Each record was only played a couple of times to record them to cassette and CDs. The records probably need a good cleaning as I haven't played any of them in ages. Most of the records are almost prefect but there may be a light scratches...no deep scratches, gouges, scrapes or gashes.

The #1 record has a factory defect (bubble in the vinyl) that can be seen in one of the photos. This defect in right between Colonel Abrams-"Trapped" and Shirley Lites -"Heat You Up". This is the only issue that I found in the 12 record set.

The sleeves are in great shape. No rips, tear & stains. Nothing other than the normal wear from handling a couple of times.

The box set has the cat# B.C. 70-2060-49.
