I was lucky enough ( and old enough I'm afraid!) to see the HMK twice in the mid-seventies … Gigs I will never forget .  They blew me away .  John Lydon when interviewed was ask who were your influences . Top of the list was The Heavy Metal Kids . Brash and barnstorming ; listen to Delirious ( actually a 'Kitsch' album outtake) … well it just could be the Pistols !  We lost a marvellous showman, vocalist and songwriter when Gary was hounded to death by the gutter press over 30 years ago.
