Here is a short-lived east coast band and their extremely desirable garage 45 from 1966! The A side is a mellow pop number with some brief reverb that sounds like a combination of The Byrds, The Beau Brummels and The Critters. The B side is a definitive garage rocker(a raw, thumping guitar backbeat with harmonica and a wild guitar solo) that will bring to mind those first couple of hits from The Kinks. You are bidding on the very rare U.S. 45 Laugh With The Wind b/w Stop It Baby from the New York band The Heard - catalog number is Audition Recording 6107. This is not a bootleg(unlike that white label Joy Records Barbarians 45 I have in my collection - I'm still fuming over that!)! The A side is visually graded in good condition with some distinct scuffing. Overall, the A side plays in good condition with some static; on my turntable with a lightweight tone arm, there was a quick skip right after the reverb part that affected "your" and half of "love" in the first verse's first line of "Your love has gone and faded away." If you position your needle just right, you can get that part to play through okay! The rest of the A side plays skip-free, but if you have a more professional style of a turntable, then you may very well not encounter this skip at all! The B side plays VG-; it is skip-free and has approximately 30 seconds of static. There is also some faded writing on both of the labels. This still makes for a great starter copy until a better one comes along(and let's face it, the chances of that are slim!)! The 45 will be placed in a plastic-protected plain white sleeve. This will be shipped to you in a new 45 mailer with cardboard pieces around the item so as to help absorb shock. This item was visually graded by using a bright light.
