33 1/3 SIZE, BUT IS PLAYED AT 45RPM – SOUND GROOVES ARE VG++ CONDITION. THE LABEL IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH A 1" x 1/2" TAPE STAIN
AND A SMALL SMUDGE UNDER THE GROUP TITLE GRADED A STRONG VG. THIS GARAGE CLASSIC IS COMPED ON THE SIGNED D.C. LP.
This is the monster, high energy version of “Hey Joe” by the Hazards. This High School Garage Band attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond, Virginia. The band consisted of Andy Hrabovsky vocals, Sonny Salisbury lead guitar, Alan Sidenburg guitar, Greg Ellerson bass, Stanley Bernstein organ, and David Moore on drums. Plenty of driving fuzz action and fast 16th note guitar picking on this classic. Hrabovsky’s vocal shouting adds a power presence to the track. The record was produced by Martin Gary. This is the original Acetate recorded at Ed Green’s Edgewood Studio in Washington, D.C.
