Mega-Rare Montreal Garage Swansong 45! The Haunted were the first band to usher in the Psychedelic sound in Quebec and they did it without boundaries in both English & French. The Music Machine cover is fantastic, but it's NOT The Haunted, and we still don't know who it could be (though SIR BRADLEY & THE SCREAMS are good contenders!) In early 1968, The Haunted recorded French versions of Purple Haze and Cream's White Room. Luckily for us, Johnny messed-up the lyrics on "Chambre Blanc" so the label owner decided to sustitute it with tape by another act. Only a few hundred copies made, this was the band's last single and their only real indie release on a tiny Sherbrooke-based label.
CONSERVATIVE GRADING. Record VG++ The vinyl has minor scuffing and only small light scratches. Minor crackle is audible on playback but isn't too distracting. A-label has "Purple Haze" in pen. Learn how I grade HERE
