I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A LARGE AMOUNT OF AN OLD WAREHOUSE STOCK OF MANY DIY PUNK / MINIMAL SYNTH / INDUSTRIAL / POST PUNK / MESSTHETICS / H2D / HYPED TO DEATH / HOMEWORK / TEENLINE TYPE ITEMS, ALL ARE IN AN UNPLAYED CONDITION !!!! SO KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS !
This is A VERY RARE AND IN DEMAND UK POWER POP / PUNK single by the band THE GUESTS from 1980, BARELY PLAYED ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This single is a great example of 4 PUNK / POWER POP tracks that will also appeal to INDIE POP collectors , it is on many POWER POP / PUNK collectors wants lists AND NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE, WELL HERE IS ONE BARELY PLAYED ORIGINAL COPY !!!
The band also had one song included on the RARE 1981 PUNK / POWER POP ALBUM COMPILATION : OWT FER NOWT !!!
What makes this copy extra special is it also comes with the ORIGINAL PROMO ONLY 2 INSERTS P/S, of which I have only seen once before in 30 years !!!
The front part of the INSERT P/S has the band's address written on it in pencil, if you want to remove it you can easily do it with an eraser, but I thought it is better like that !!!
The single came out on the private A LABEL CALLED MABEL RECORDS catalogue number ALCM 7.
The songs are: HIT THE SCENE / LIVE IN / MELT DOWN / IMPRESSING THE PRESS.
The single INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL RARE 2 OVER SIZED PROMO INSERTS and the condition of the VINYL is in EX+/VG+++ (minor sleeve scuffs only !!!), the 2 OVER SIZED ORIGINAL PROMO INSERTS P/S are in VG+ condition (minor bends on top because of the over size !!!).
DON'T LET THIS RARE POWER POP / PUNK single get away as you will never see another and especially not in this condition.
