Description
Absolutely stunning original 1968 first pressing copy of the Great Society's Conspicuous Only in its Absence LP on Columbia CS-9624. Features Grace Slick on vocals, before she joined the Jefferson Airplane, and has early versions of the later Airplane hits, White Rabbit and Somebody to Love. This copy is by far the best I have ever seen and the best anyone is likely to see. Still in the shrinkwrap and almost pristine. The very rare original hype sticker is still stuck on, and I don't know that I have ever seen another one. Original 2-eye labels on the discs, which are in beautiful condition. There are a couple of very light superficial sleeve scuffs but it plays flawlessly and beautifully. The cover is just about mint with just a touch of a soft corner at the lower right. This is a top, top original copy that will be about impossible to beat.
