Description

This album is a promotional only release by the Ford Motor Company featuring the pop-psych vocals of The Going Thing. Entitled "1969" it was released on a private label distributed by the Ford Motor Co. in 1968 and distributed to dealers all over the country. There are eight songs by the Going Thing group and the flip consists of a message by then Ford Division advertising manager John J. Morrissey. There is also a bonus lp for the  Going Thing Fling contest also distributed to dealers only. The record featuring the group's vocals grades at vg+ to vg++ with super shine and a few light scuffs. The contest record grades at strong vg with tremendous shine but also numerous light but noticable scuffs. It is important to note it is recorded in mono. The cover grades at a strong vg+ to vg++ with just a little light wear on the front and back. Money back guarantee if not completely satisfied. Buyer pays for shipping and handling.
