On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Gods called 'To Samuel A Son' and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Columbia label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST UK PSYCH LPs EVER RELEASED - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1970 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS COLUMBIA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK 1st Pressing from 1970 and is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SCX 6372 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Columbia Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition - with only 1 VERY small and VERY minor defect (mentioned below)!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, only 1 small mark right at the VERY edge of Side 1, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  However there is 1 VERY small problem with this LP (and to me it is as minor as it gets!).  Whilst 99% of this LP plays absolutely BEAUTIFULLY with CRYSTAL CLEAR sound - right at the VERY beginning of Side 1 (in the VERY quiet organ intro just after the run on grooves) there are a few clicks/pops and 2 small skips (from the small surface mark mentioned above).  Now normally I wouldnt offer a record with a skip - and if it was anywhere else on this record I wouldnt be offering it!  But the organ intro to Side 1 on this LP is completely surplus to requirements and BY FAR the most uninteresting part of this LP.  The 2 skips occour only seconds after the music begins and even the clicks/pops end BEFORE the organ intro ends and the AMAZING Psych music EXPLODES into your speakers!!!!  So to me this really is as MINOR as it gets!!!!  If it was midway through a track, or even half way through the record - it would be far more annoying - but because this is at the VERY beginning and is on the most dispensable part of this LP - it is almost irrelevant!!!!  And this record SHINES LIKE NEW and rest of Side 1 (the remaining 99% of it!) plays absolutely BRILLIANTLY - as does the whole of Side 2!!!!  And because the rest of this record is in such BRILLIANT condition - this LP is FAR more desirable than a worn out, dulled, scratched example, with poor sound - even if it has NO skips at all!!!!  So think very VERY carefully indeed - before passing on this AMAZING psych gem!!!!  This LP does NOT turn up often AT ALL - and even with the 1 surface mark - this LP is INCREDIBLY hard to find in this condition - and you will surely have to wait a very VERY long time before you get the chance to own another one!!!!  Without the small surface mark the record would EASILY grade Very Good++++ if not better (and of course 99% of this record DOES have this grading!) - so how much the small surface mark drops the grading is up to you (I have been very clear here).  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
