You are bidding on a nearly complete Time-Life Records GIANTS Of JAZZ Series.

All volumes are in great condition and there's no water damage or crushing. There is some normal and slight wear on a few of the corners on some of the sets but nothing out of the ordinary and for 20+ years old they're almost like new! The paper parts of the record sleeves show signs of aging (yellow) mostly at the top where exposed. This is a really beautiful set and the paintings/prints of the artists are gorgeous (see the set covers in our pictures)

This Giants of Jazz series began in 1978 and concluded in 1983. 28 individual 3-LP sets were offered during those 5 years. Jazz performers and musicians featured in the series are;

• 26 seperate Giants of Jazz box sets totaling 78 LP Records

Time-Life Books combined its book offerings with recorded music and released these mixed- media offerings through a new Division called Time-Life Records. Typically, these were offered as two-to-five record sets with a book giving the history of the music or composer, all packaged as a sturdy box set. Taking a page from the successful record clubs of the times, Time-Life offered a series of these box sets to be sent to the subscriber periodically (typically, every six weeks or so). Like the Time-Life book subscriptions, these were sent "on approval," meaning the buyer could listen for a short time, and if they didn't like the particular volume, they could send it back, no questions asked.

No, we do not end auctions early. All of our auctions go for the full duration.

What will my shipping and handling costs be?

Can you ship outside of the United States?
We do not ship internationally at this time.

Can you send me additional photos of the item?
Unfortunately, due to the high volume of items we receive each day, we cannot take additional photos of specific items.

What does "Powered on but not tested" mean?
This means that we have plugged in and turned on the item to see if it started up, but have not performed additional testing.

What does "Sold As Is" mean?
Since we cannot fully test every function of an item, some items are Sold As Is. These items cannot be returned.
