This record is in near mint condition. It has a few(5 or 6) spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the iconic blue Columbia labels are in great shape and have little to report other than the few spindle marks.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are really clean, have a vivid lustre and have nothing remotely serious showing in normal light. There is the odd thin and very minor faint line(I can see 5 maximum when angled) just about visible but these really are nothing at all serious. There is a few more wispy lines and very minor 'sleeve scuffs' visible under bright light but not many at all and again nothing remotely sinister. So overall this vintage record is in superb condition with no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and the most beautiful vivid lustre.
I play tested the record and it plays really well and sounded superb throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is really clear with next to no surface noise or interference audible in the audio and only the most minimal amount possible in the run in. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks/pops. Overall it was an absolute pleasure to play test and produced audio of great quality and excellent clarity throughout.
The front laminated sleeve is in excellent condition. It has only minor rubbing and wear to the corners and the edges with the writing along the spine all still clearly legible. There are of course no splits and no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is however a touch of age related discolouring to the rear. This is far from extreme but there is some showing, especially around the edges. There is only mild ring marks visible and no major creasing to the laminated front. There is one crease towards the far right side but this is all. There is also a couple of small and very minor dents to the record entry side but these are not serious at all. Overall a very nice sleeve considering its age which just has light age related wear really. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original poly-lined 'Use Emitex' inner which is in excellent condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks but does have minor creasing and some age related discolouring. I will send the record in a plain white replacement to ensure no wear occurs to the original during transit.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
