It is an original pressing (not a reissue) from 1966 with staggered photos on back cover; it is still SEALED in the factory shrink-wrap and in MINT condition (no bumped corners, no cracked seams, no flaws); spine is nicely blocked with printing off-center. Almost impossible to find in this condition ("massively rare" as our friend Bob might say)! Liner notes and inspiration by ALLEN GINSBERG who also performs, uncredited. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime find!
One of the Fugs' founding members, TULI KUPFERBERG, passed away on July 12, 2010, in Manhattan; he died at 86 years of age following two strokes last year. The above clipping is from the Rolling Stone August issue and is not part of the auction.
