Description
SUPER RARE! 1963 1st release, THE FREEWHEELIN' BOB DYLAN vinyl record with "Blowing In The Wind" promo sticker. The black text on the label assures its the 1st release as Columbia changed the label to white text for the 2nd release. In 1963 stereo was in its infancy so more mono records were made for the 1st release than stereo, making the stereo record much harder to find especially in this condition. It's 62 years old!
Vinyl - NM minus as side 2 has paper scuffs, side 1 appears nm. 2C/3G trailers. Original Columbia inner sleeve. Record is stored outside jacket cover and inner sleeve.
Label - Very clean, with no writing, black text really stands out on red label
Cover - VG++ Cover has no tears or seam splits, all text is readable and undamaged including spine. Very slight ring-ware on front, and 1/4" to 1/2" shelf-ware on corner bottoms. Some slight discoloring on back especially by mouth of cover. Sticker has 4 sharp corners with a 1/4" dog ear crease on upper left corner and slight discoloring.
