This is a RARE US ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING DEMO PROMO COPY - NORTHERN SOUL - single by THE FLIRTATIONS from 1966, ORIGINAL US 1ST PRESSING PROMO COPY IN GREAT CONDITION VINYL !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - NORTHERN SOUL - US ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING PROMO COPY single that RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE !!! According to NORTHERN SOUL websites I read, this is an ORIGINAL 1966 promo pressing which does not have any of the matrices crossed out (as was the case with the 70’s pressings). There were also colour label promos printed at the same time which were printed by a different pressing plant. The matrices are: F1124 (MR) Δ100272 / F1125 (MR) Δ100272-X with nothing scratched out, and it is pressed on styrene, PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG. It was comped on the: THE NORTHERN SOUL STORY 14 and THAT DRIVING BEAT and THE RECORD COLLECTOR VOL 1 (20 LEGENDARY NORTHERN SOUL CLASSICS) and THE ULTIMATE NORTHERN SOUL and NORTHERN MONSTERS and MANY other compilations !!!
The tracks are: STRONGER THAN HER LOVE / SETTLE DOWN.
The single came out on FESTIVAL RECORDS catalogue number F-705.
VISUAL ONLY condition of the vinyl is VG+ / VG++ condition (non feelable scuffs and marks), comes in a white die cut sleeve !!!
