This is not an original, it is a later boot, however, it is a high quality pressing 45 on thick red vinyl with wonderful sound quality, by the FLAMINGOS. Songs are: DREAM OF A LIFETIME, & ON MY MERRY WAY. It is on the maroon and silver PARROT label #808, In trail off is PARROT (808) P-53208, / 53209. Also on both sides is SJW-MR & JM . I cannot say enough about the pressing, if not for the many books on collecting rare records and knowing originals etc, I would think this was an original the way it looks. even the labels are slightly dished in around the spindle hole. and both look very much original. If you search for the best most sought after hardest to find original '50s doo wop 45s you may still want to acquire this 45 as the next best thing to the original. An original of this 45 could sell for thousands, especially in this CONDITION: MINT. Labels are simply stunning, playing surfaces also pristine, labels are brilliant with no fading, stains, stickers, writing, etc. also NO spindle hole wear. I noticed only one tiny wear mark on one side. Playing surfaces have NO scratches, scuffs, groove wear, defects, warps, stains, etc. This is a nicely pressed and sounding next best thing to the original. the original is the holy grail of doo wop collecting.
