Rare Original 1st Press Vinyl LP This is a superb, highly collectable Psych LP - hardly ever comes up for sale, especially in this stunning condition!
"Five Day Week Straw People was an LP that captured a day in the life of sixties London. Released in September 1968, Five Day Week Straw People were not a band, but rather the work of London-based songwriters, David Montague and Guy Mascalo, who composed a song cycle that they once described as being about people who work monotonously during the week and then try to enjoy themselves at weekends. The song writing pair hired in guitar, bass, drums, vocals and set up in a makeshift studio recording space (actually a school !) . Taking just four hours, most of the tracks being recorded in one or two takes, the results were exceptional."

Looks barely played, just a couple of the faintest, insignificant hairlines mainly visible under harsh electric light. Vinyl has that wonderful hardly played sheen, absolutely superb. Sounds wonderful; rich clear audio with no real playing faults to mention. You are very unlikely to find an original like this one in such fantastic condition.
Laminated Sleeve/Original Saga Inner Sleeve : EX+/VG+
Sleeve is in superb shape, the colourful Psychedelic laminated front has a deep sheen with colours wonderfully sharp and clear with no real issues to mention. The rear sleeve is lovely: white and clean - it has been carefully stored by its one careful owner from new. There is a small 1cm crease at the opening edge of the rear sleeve. The inner sleeve has corner creases, but no splits or tears.

Postage & Packaging
Records are packaged safely using strong stiff cardboard and extra bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in the same condition as in my description. I also remove record from outer sleeve and original inner sleeves, to prevent seam splits. I am a record collector myself and understand the importance of safe packaging to ensure safe delivery.

Postage prices will be greatly reduced if buying more than one record. In fact, if UK buyers buy three LPs, the postage is the same price as for posting one LP. Overseas buyers can also expect a much reduced rate when combining postage.
