Transpiritual stomp / Arizona light mix
12” record EMI PARLOPHONE 1993
This is a 1993 German pressing, released in extremely limited quantities.
One of the rarest McCartney/Fireman releases !! Produced by Youth
The 12” record is in stunning EXCELLENT CONDITION !!
The vinyl is very shiny, superb.
The labels both are MINT-. No writing, no signs of playing.
Both labels have the MPL juggler logo (McCartney Productions Limited).
The record has typed matrix no. 12P519 344 and comes in a standard black sleeve.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT "ARIZONA LIGHT MIX":
The record contains 2 songs of the Fireman’s first album. Interestingly, the B-side is designated as “Arizona light mix”, while it’s called “Arizona light” on the full album “Strawberry oceans ships forest”. According to the book “The unknown Paul McCartney” by Ian Peel the title was changed to “Arizona light” just before the album was mastered, so this may be a very early pressing.
Ian Peel, page 133:" Even the titles Youth had given them remained, although somewhere between studio and the pressing plant "Arizona Light Mix" became "Arizona light".
Ian Peel, Page 134: "We just did it as two 12 inches at first, recalls Youth"
This indicates this to be an early 1993 12” release, possibly pressed prior to the full album ??
