Description

Dorati & the LSO –
Stravinsky
THE FIREBIRD –
Mercury SR-90226 – M Pressing -
TAS “BEST OF THE BUNCH”

One of the very first stereo LPs ever released that made audiophiles aware that recordings could be quite outstanding in capturing the complete musical happening within a concert hall.

It was recorded by Wilma Cozart and Bob Fine, and has been recognized around the world as one of the very finest records ever produced.  Within audiophile circles, it's become darn-near legendary.

This copy is a non-color back release in fine shape. Cover is without major fault, still in shrink, with just a small “bb” hole.  Inside, is an M pressing that should play NM/NM-.

A prize in classical vinyl, not to be missed.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
