THE FIELD MICE: Emma's House. Original '88 EP UK Pressing With Complete Inserts M-
For auction an almost pristine original copy of The Field Mice's debut EP on Sarah Records COMPLETE with all inserts. That this could have survived so perfectly intact for almost 35 years is astounding but here it is.
The vinyl appears totally unplayed and shines black and glossy without any scratches, scuffs or even hairlines. M- at least.
The delicate gatefold sleeve is bright and crisp, still vivid yellow and orange, free from writing, rips or stickers.
Sometimes copies of this rare EP have surfaced that still include the poster but hardly EVER with the accompanying Sarah records Catalogue flyer that was part of the package.. This one has both.
As for the music - The Field Mice's reputation grows with each passing year jangling brilliantly through the four tracks gathered here: Emma's House/When You Sleep/Fabulous Friend/The Last Letter. The first stirrings of what would explode into Brit Pop can be heard here though The Field Mice need no classification other than their own sound.
