Description

" THE FAMILY WAY " (Paul McCartney / George Martin) 1967, The Decca Record Co. Ltd. (SKL-4847).

This is the very rare soundtrack LP from the '67 Boulting Brothers film... McCartney's earliest foray into film score composing, supervised and orchestrated by George Martin.

Originally only pressed in the UK (copies of the '67 UK pressing can sell for up to £150, if you can find one). This particular copy is the only other legimate vinyl issue, a slightly later pressing from Australia issued for their domestic market.

This LP has been professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine.

CONDITION:

VINYL = NEAR MINT (No visible or audible mark or scratches, no groove damage, no warping, no distortion, no excessive surface noise, etc. Still plays perfectly without interuptions - clearly hardly ever played. Even the labels are perfectly clean without any spindle trails)

SLEEVE - EXCELLENT- (Generally a good clean example. But I have marked it down for slight shelf wear, some slight damage to the bottom of the spine and a small tear on the back cover - see photo for further clarification)

NOTE: It's probably worth pointing out that we are an actual long standing physical shop and soundtrack-specialist mail order firm with literally decades of record trading experience under our collective belts and unlike so many of the jokers and have-a-go heroes that currently clog up ebay, we know how to grade records (often an excellent LP from us will surpass a less reputable seller's so-called mint items). Please don't just go on gradings either, read my descriptions carefully and make a sensible bid accordingly and if you have any queries about an LP I am selling, please get in touch in good time before the end of the auction and I will do my very best to assist. Feel free to check out my feedback for more detailed accounts of our past items sold.

HAPPY BIDDING!
