Unreleased Acetate
The only thing written on the label is "1-15-58" on one side, the other side is blank. One side in an unbelievably rocking, originally unreleased song called I WONDER, the other side is a doo-wop number called THIS HEART OF MINE that was released on Kudo and Chess. I WONDER was eventually featured on a Falcons comp sometime in the late '70's or early 80's —
This acetate plays at 78 rpm, here's a clip recorded on my Califone directly from the acetate:
Condition: Looks very nice for an acetate of it's age, plays through with no issues, no flaking, only a two very minor spots where the metal is showing, sounds like a Lupine recording, the high hiss cycle heard on the audio is my Califone which has a plastic needle that needs replacing. Anything played on that player is given that.
