Ultra Rare original 1969 french copy of THE END's only release: ''Introspection'', produced by Bill Wyman, on Decca label, SKL-R 5.015
Sleeve is VG, with slight tear in top right corner, a little tape yellowing on the back and name sticker (that I will let you remove) on back right bottom corner (see pics for details). Record is NM.
The End was a british rock band formed in 1965 by Dave Brown (bass, vocals) and Colin Griffin (guitar,lead vocals) following the demise of The Innocents. Nick Graham (keyboards, vocals) and John Horton (saxophone) joined from Dickie Pride's backing group, The Original Topics, and Roger Groom (drums) of The Tuxedos completed the line-up. The band was produced by Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, who arranged for them to tour with his group. After the tour, Grooms quit and was replaced by Hugh Atwooll, an old friend of Graham. Horton would also quit, but continued to work with the band on their second single, "Shades of Orange". In 1969 the band released their only album, Introspection.
The material on "Introspection" mirrored the psychedelic style explored by The Rolling Stones on "Their Satanic Majesties Request" and contained many fine compositions. Indeed, material such as "Under The Rainbow", "Cardboard Watch" and the two parts of "Introspection" stand up well alongside material produced by The End's better-known musical compatriots.
