Description

This album is by jazz trombonist Jay Jay Johnson. Entitled "The Eminent Jay Jay Johnson volume 2",it was released in 1955 on Blue Note records  BLP 1506. It was recorded at three different sessions with such legendary jazz musicians as Horace Silver,Clifford Brown,Jimmy Heath,Wynton Kelly,Charles Mingus,Hank Mobley,Kenny Clark and Horace Silver. Vinyl is on the original deep groove blue and white label with the Lexington Avenue adress and has RVG and the ear etched in the dead wax. It is graded at a solid vg- with as very nice shine and some light scuffs. It does play with noticeable  background crackle but not enough to destroy the enjoyment of the music. Cover is in G condition with soiling on the back and partial splits on all three borders. Money back guarantee if not completely satisfied. Buyer pays for shipping and handling.
