 •Other Info: This is a fundamental and essential record for those who collect or are interested in Moog or electronic records.  Although it’s a very early release—1962—it’s possible to detect the fun, even silly sounds that would later appear on many LPs in the 1960s and 70s, as opposed to the dry, academic experimentalism that had largely prevailed until this record came out.   Tom Dissevelt and Kid Baltan (aka Dick Raaijmakers) were two Dutch musicians who came from the experimental side of electronic music, but what they did on this album (later reissued as Song of the Second Moon) is totally innovative and exciting.

This is part of a massive “Moog record” (and related) collection I’m starting to sell.  I will be selling a lot more of it in the months to come.  If you are looking for a Moog/synth album in particular, drop me a line.
