You are bidding on a brand new factory sealed vinyl LP record box set from the Doors called the Vinyl Box. This individually numbered limited edition set features the Original Stereo Mixes of all Six Studio Albums on 180-Gram HQ Vinyl (The Doors, Strange Days, Waiting for the Sun, The Soft Parade, Morrison Hotel, L.A. Woman). The set also features a second copy of the Doors (1st record) in it's original mono mix. This is number 2585/12500. Item is in mint condition.
Say “Hello, I Love You” to THE DOORS VINYL BOX, the ultimate Doors collectible. Cloaked in faux lizard skin, Rhino's limited edition, seven-disc boxed set contains 12” 180-gram HQ virgin vinyl reissues of the original stereo mixes of the legendary band's six Jim Morrison-fronted studio albums plus a second version of their revolutionary 1967 debut LP pressed in mono. The deluxe box presents the now-historic albums - all originally released between 1967 and 1970 - as replicas of their initial vinyl offerings, including artwork and inner sleeves. The set is capped at 12,500 individually numbered copies worldwide.
The lacquers for this special project were cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood, CA under the direct supervision of original Doors producer/engineer Bruce Botnick and Elektra Records founder Jac Holzman. THE DOORS VINYL BOX was also produced in cooperation with surviving band members John Densmore, Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek.

With a lizard skin exterior and the Lizard King and company's classic recordings inside, sounding stellar on 180-gram HQ virgin vinyl, THE DOORS VINYL BOX is a limited edition treasure for Doors collectors. It continues Rhino's 40th anniversary celebration of the iconic band's legacy, which began in 2007 - four decades after the 1967 release of THE DOORS, one of rock's most famous and influential debuts.
Records are shipped in sturdy mailers with backing and bubble wrap to avoid damage durning transit. Shipping is $4 for Media Mail (plus $2 for each additional record) or $25 Priority Mail ( plus $6 for each additional record). Shipping First Class International to Canada is $35 (cost of additional records to be calculated dependent upon weight) and overseas First Class International is $50 (cost of additional records to be calculated dependent upon weight). Double record sets cost $18 for First Class International shipping. If you cannot put the proper shipping amount into PayPal, please contact me or add the difference to the item cost and mention it in a note.
