Original US very rare Elektra Records Promotional Review Not For Sale Radio Station pressing of The Doors Morrison Hotel, released several days before the official release as indicated by a handwritten date in the trail-off vinyl. This example, along with the other titles currently listed at our auction, is coming from an incredible The Doors private collection. Authentic very early print thick cardboard gatefold cover remains in the original factory shrink wrap with breath holes in Near Mint condition. The top right corner has an original rectangular Elektra Records promotional sticker with a stylized large "E" logo and defining the status of this copy as "Not For Sale" sticker underneath the shrink wrap. The back cover also contains a stylized "E" Elektra Records logo along with the "1855 Broadway, New York, NY, 10023" address at the center top. This Promotional Review copy contains the white labels with a "Promotional Preview Copy" and "Not For Sale" banners along with a large Elektra Records logo within a black circle at the top. The original "EKS-75007" catalog number is located under the "Stereo" banner on the right side. The heavy weight inflexible vinyl, pressed at the Allentown Records Pressing Plant, contains several identifiers in the trail-off vinyl, like the "ARC", "AL," along with the "EKS-75007-A / "EKS-75007-B" matrix stampers and handwritten "2/4/0" date on both sides, meaning February 4th, 1970 and we know the official release of the Morrison Hotel album was February 9th, 1970. I grade the vinyl as Strong Very Good Plus as it has some very light insignificant surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve. The beautiful labels are very clean without any wear, except for some very light spindle marks seen under a strong light source. The vinyl has a very deep rich glossy surface, retaining its original factory lacquer. The album comes with the original white paper inner sleeve.

POLICY:
Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description. I'll use my right to block a buyer, who doesn't correspond to my idea of politeness, culture and respect toward each other. If you want to participate in my auction, please be honest and positive, and I'll be mutual with you. I'll remove the bids of a buyer with zero rating, unless he contacts me prior to placing a bid. Unfortunately, I don't ship to Germany or Russia. I apologize to the buyers from these countries in advance.
