Description

This is truly a gorgeous 1971 second pressing copy of the Doors' L.A. Woman LP on Elektra EKS-75011. Terre Haute pressing, with CTH stampers. Original butterfly labels and the rare banned crucifix inner. BUT it is NOT a window copy. It is actually from 1971 but it is the first pressing without the cellophane window, though it still has the controversial inner, embossed lettering, and the rounded corners. This copy is in such great condition I hate to sell it. It looks barely touched and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. I have rarely had the pleasure to hear these Doors masterpieces on such perfect copies (see the other NM copies I have posted). Really this thing sounds just stunning. And the cover is just beautiful as well, with almost no ringwear at all, as most original copies have-- just a very tiny bit (see photo). Barely the slightest wear at the open edge, and a slight crease at the left edge near the top. Also another on the back at the right edge in the center. Very light. Really this is a simply gorgeous copy of the cover, with crisp edges and barely any wear. Truly a top, top early copy, pretty hard to beat.
