Absolutely gorgeous original 1971 copy of the Doors' last LP, L.A. Woman, on Elektra EKS-75011. First Pitman pressing, with butterfly labels, rare embossed window cover, and the banned crucifix inner sleeve. This copy is just stunning inside and out. The disc plays absolutely flawlessly and just beautifully. There are a couple of very light superficial scuffs on side one, but they don't make the slightest sound. This thing plays like a new copy. There are also some of those light spots that come over time from the acid in the paper sleeve, but they are not damage at all, nor wear. Just a cosmetic thing, and barely noticeable. This copy really is a gem. Amazing to hear such a clean original. Such a difference to hear the early pressing, which is so much clearer than the later red label, or black and red label pressings, which I think sound comparatively flat. This is an incredible listen. The cover is also just gorgeous, with only the slightest gentle shelfwear. Really this is just a spectacular copy. Hard to beat.
