Description
If It Ain't One Thing, It's Another is an "unofficial" release of The Doors recorded live in New York and Dallas. This is a 3 record set, with the first two records being The Doors live at Felt Forum, NY and the third record a live show in Dallas, both recorded in 1970. The Felt Forum material was later cleaned up and officially released in 2009 as The Doors Live In New York. This is a great and seldom seen bootleg release from the 1980's. I am the original owner. Played perhaps only twice, the records are in great condition as may be seen in the images. I typically only played records like this once or twice to preserve quality. I would usually record them to cassette so I wouldn't need to play the records again. The audio quality is admittedly not great, but that was the nature of these bootleg recordings. I did listen to sides 1 & 5 to check for surface noise. The records tested very well, with no significant surface noise or clicks. There are no scratches. I ran the audio through my computer and captured images of the audio profile to show the lack of surface noise. The images show a blip at the left of the profile that corresponds to the needle set-down and then a clean lead-in to Roadhouse Blues on side one and Love Her Madly on side five. The outer jacket has the original shrink wrap still attached and is in excellent condition overall. The corners are in good shape. There are no marks or stains. The back of the jacket has a small chip on the edge that can be seen in the images. The inner sleeves are original and show some minor yellowing. The record labels do not show the name of the album. A true rarity, I can remember being so happy to find this back in the day. Certain record stores used to have a behind the curtain section for "unofficial" releases like this.
