Description

I'm a long-time audiophile and record collector thinning my substantial personal collection. 

This rare misprint stereo copy of The Doors first album is decent. There is a line of dried adhesive remnant along the bottom edge of the cover where it was possibly taped at one time, but the cover itself is unsplit. As far as the record goes, the gold labels are very clean with the lightest of spindle marks. The vinyl shows many fine scratches that manifest as surface noise and crackle, significant in some passages and minor in others. There is a random pop here and there and a scratch/repetitive crackle at the beginning of "The End". There may be a tiny jump at the beginning of "Break On Through" depending upon your tracking weight. On the bright side, the fidelity these Monarch pressings are known for still shines through. I'm pretty picky and find it an enjoyable listen despite its flaws. "Back Door Man" is especially electrifying. What makes this pressing desirable is the "Oher" misprint which was apparently limited to one particular run before it was corrected. 
This record has been ultrasonically cleaned in TergiKleen solution and then rinsed and vacuumed twice with distilled water on a VPI 16.5 for your listening pleasure.

I've purchased many over-graded LPs on eBay and know just how frustrating that can be. If my records are priced a little higher than others it's because they're worth it in terms of time and aggravation so buy with confidence!

Your record will be shipped in a plastic outer sleeve in a real record mailer, not some cobbled together pieces of cardboard, so you can be sure it will arrive in the condition expected.
