Description
This record is from my personal collection and is the 1st Allentown plant pressing featuring the gold Elektra labels with the "(Weill-Brecht, Witmark ASCAP)" publishing credit on Side One below "Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar)". Ultra rare issue of the the earliest pressing, which has Morrison's expletive "F**k" in the "The End" track. This uncensored version of this album was promptly withdrawn due to ethical reasons. The copies of this issue are very hard to find and they're a big rarity.
Please see the photos for the item's visual condition.
Cover - Very Good Plus (The Mono cover with the catalog number "EKL-4007" is in great shape overall, except for some ring wear and scuffing. No splits. No writing. Sturdy spine with the intact text.)
Original Inner Sleeve - Near Mint Minus
Vinyl - Excellent Minus (Just a couple of super light hairlines; a few light scuffs from the paper sleeve. Great playback.)
Labels - Excellent Minus (Some light factory defect in the form of a couple of creases on Side 1 / Super light spindle marks on Side 2)
