1967 Elektra EKL-4007 label
Insanely rare 100% guaranteed original very early true 1st Mono mix release of the 1st The Doors’ album, released in January, 1967, in a still factory sealed condition. This copy has never been opened or played for 54 years. The Stereo cover of this incredible copy contains a white rectangular sticker with “MONAURAL” in bold font, the rarest among the “Mono” sticker variations (white and neon red “Mono” stickers). The sticker is affixed at the top center of the front cover underneath the shrink wrap. The "This Record Can Be Played On A Stereo Phonograph" sticker is on top of the shrink, which contains two breather holes and is fully intact. 100% guaranteed that this copy contains a gold/mustard Elektra Records label with a stylized “E” Elektra Records logo and “EKL-4007” catalog number. There is the slightest of a lower right corner crease as well as a slight crease in the center of the cover. No creases are noticeable on the back cover. Also has a tiny drill hole in the upper right corner
