Description
For sale is "THE DISTINCTIVE STYLE OF BOBBY TROUP," on Bethlehem BCP-35, MONO, DG, 1955.
SOUND: VG+/NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, excellent playback, side A having a touch of light surface noise (about VG+) and side B very clean, a notch better (NM.) An enjoyable listen!
VINYL: VG+/NM The vinyl is quite clean overall, with a couple faint, superficial scuffs either side. The deep-grooved maroon/silver labels are beautiful, with a few faint spindle marks.
JACKET: VG+ The edges and spine are solid, with a little minor fraying in a couple spots. Front cover has a scuff lower left, otherwise nice and clean. The back is clean and in great shape.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
