Description

A beautiful mint and unplayed copy of the 2010 Dead Weather 'Triple Decker' 12", issued in a limited edition only 300 copies by Third Man Records (TMR 057).

This ultra rarity is a 12" record with three tracks, "Blue Blood Blues", "No Hassle Night" and "I Just Wanna Make Love To You".  BUT embedded inside the 12" is a 7" single with two more tracks, "I Feel Strange" and "Rolling In On a Burning Tire."  The tracks on the 7" can only be heard by breaking open the 12"--considering the rarity and value of this, something few if any fans did.

As NME reported at the time of the release; Designed and trademarked by White, the Triple Decker Record sees the 12-inch version of the single embedded with a previously unreleased 7-inch vinyl, which can only be listened to once removed from inside the 12-inch record.  “It’s one of the many mind games we like to play with you here at Third Man Records,” White says in a video about the release. 100 copies [were] be sold directly in the Third Man Records store in Nashville, with the other 200 being distributed through selected record shops and randomly via mail order.

As nice a copy as you could hope to find.  Check our other listings for other TMR rarities.

We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren't happy with no questions asked.

Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe any flaw, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition.
