First of all this is without doubt the vinyl of the 1977 freebie with all the run out grovve markings.


A Side Matrix / Runout: DAMNED-1-1 (stamped) "I said you better have the album I said you better have the album" (etched)

B Side Matrix / Runout: DAMNED-2-1 (stamped) "One year olds" (etched)


So this in NOT a test pressing of the recent bootlegs! It's a genuine 1977 vinyl so why would anyone sacrifice this rare freebie for a counterfeit T/P?


I have never heard of another copy and usually STIFF did ONE-SIDED T/P only at the time - THEREFORE I MUST QUESTION ITS AUTHENTICY.

I bought this one some 15 years ago for dire money but cannot validate the authencity of it - these days who knows where test pressings are coming from. Please decide for yourself, I have no way of telling whether it is real - for some test pressings I own I am 100% sure - not with this one I'm afraid.
