FACTORY SEALED THE DAMNED Rare LP

"THE BLACK ALBUM"

Chiswick Records # CWK-3015 / OC 062 64 119 (according to the text on the back cover in the upper right corner)

A never-opened copy with a “Jem Records Import” sticker on the front! The back of the cover reads “Country of manufacture as stated on the record label”.

The cover is made of a bit thinner material than a United States pressed jacket and looks considerably better than most jackets we have seen made of this thinner weight material. The spine has two very light and small (less than ½ inch) creases, and there is one even smaller crease on the top seam near the left corner. The bottom right corner is dinged and there is a small tear in the shrink wrap plastic in this corner. There is also a tear in the shrink wrap plastic on the top right edge and a tiny corner ding here. The “Jem” sticker is partially on the shrink wrap plastic and partly on the cover surface. There is one more very small tear in the shrink wrap plastic on the right edge near the bottom. There is one light surface crease on the back part of the cover near the left edge, measuring about 2 ½ inches. The cover also shows a bit of light curling in places from being sealed for all these years. Still probably one of the nicest sealed survivors of this album around.

All LPs come packaged carefully in a sturdy corrugated box made specifically for mailing LPs plus a cardboard insert. The covers are placed in clear plastic record sleeves. The vinyl is removed from the cover (except for SEALED items) for shipping to prevent seam splitting during shipment.
