"THE CYNICS" **You're A Better Man Than I b/w Train Kept A-Rollin'** 1966 Single 45 rpm With Original Sleeve On BEAR A&B *Vinyl EX, Sounds Nice* One Owner!

ORIGINAL SLEEVE VG+:  Original plain paper sleeve is in VG+ condition with no side or bottom splits and minimal bent corner creases.  The vinyl will be shipped in a new generic plain heavy stock paper sleeve and original sleeve will be included in record package.

LABELS EX:  Both labels are in great shape overall with near zero ring/shelf wear noticeable on either side.  No scratches, tears or graffiti and only a tiny bit of wear around the spindle hole. Base dark blue and black print are still bold and vivid.  No particular negatives to declare.  Photos will provide a better description than mere words.

VINYL RECORD EX:  The vinyl is clean and virtually scratch and scuff free on both sides, and for an off label, both sides sound very nice. There is minimal wear and there are no particular noise issues during tracks play on either side. There are scattered instances of very light surface or "character" noise on occasions from being played on vintage equipment, but otherwise, record plays back nicely with no skips or hangs, and sounds pretty darned good to my ear.  Record was lightly and gently cleaned prior to play testing, but not deep or machine cleaned due to the rare status of this release, and is listed in its original condition.

BOTH SIDES OF THIS 45 WERE GRADED AUDIBLY,  "LOUD" IN MONO MODE SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE COULD BE DOCUMENTED FOR THIS DESCRIPTION.  NO HEADPHONES GRADING!

SIDE "A" You're A Better Man Than I:  Near zero noise in the lead in groove area.  Excellent overall sound and separation.  A tiny bit of hissing noticeable during the diminished segments, but nothing of a distracting nature.  Gutsy sound throughout and light noise in the dead wax trail off area.  I gave side "A" an "A-" audibly.  Nice sound, and mostly clean.  No particular negatives to declare.

SIDE "B" Train Kept A-Rollin':  Near zero noise in the lead in groove area.  Again, superb overall sound and separation.  Very nice bass track with very little to no surface noise noticeable during playback. Near zero noise in the dead wax trail off area.  Nothing during playback to warrant any kind of a downgrade beneath side one.  In fact, side "B" is a little cleaner sounding than side "A".  Not perfect, but clean enough that I gave side "B" an "A-" grade audibly also (almost an "A").

SUMMARY:  The original sleeve is in VG+ condition as described above.  The vinyl is very clean sounding and has near zero noise issues during tracks play on both sides. The record is, "in my opinion", easily qualified for re-recording to another audio medium and what noise there is, is mostly of a "character noise" nature and not annoying at all.
