THE CURE. 1986 Spanish promo 7" release of The Blood and Six Different Ways.
This record is regarded as the number one collectible Cure rarity and is sought after not only by Cure enthusiasts but by all collectors of rare vinyl. It is the holy grail of Cure records and generally sells only at rare vinyl auctions, where in recent years it has fetched from $400-$1400.
This single was issued only in Spain in an edition of 300 copies as a promotional test piece, which ultimately was never released commercially. The sleeve is made from textured paper stock and features a red guitar image created by the mysterious artist “Nacho Scola.” The back of the sleeve features a brief “Discografia.”
The sleeve is in excellent condition. The vinyl has never been played. I am the original owner and I guarantee the authenticity of this item.
I have liquidated my entire vinyl collection, and this is the last piece to go, which is why there is no reserve and an extremely generous starting bid. Good luck to all!
