So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize.  Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment.  It will take a while !!! For instant sale is an excellent condition copy of the first UK pressing from 1979 of the 'THREE IMAGINARY BOYS' album by THE CURE.  It is on the FICTION label and has the catalogue number FIX 1.  A genuine UK first pressing it has the matrix numbers A//1 and B//1 in the runout grooves along with 'THE GATWICK SOUND' and 'STRAWBERRY'. The sleeve is in superb condition for its age.  There is hardly any wear apart from small amounts on a couple of corners and on the spine edge and a few small creases in the lamination.  The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable.  The printed lyric inner sleeve is in similar condition.  Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition with hardly any 'spindle trails' showing that the record has hardly been played.  The record is also in excellent condition and, although not perfect, plays superbly with only occasional surface noise and occasional 'pops'.  Definitely no deep scratches, 'sticks' or 'jumps'.  I honestly think that you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this fine album.   The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class 'tracked' post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
