Description

THE CURE - Killing an Arab / 10.15 Saturday Night (Fiction Records FICS 001 - released in 1978)
This second pressing of The Cure's debut single on Fiction records is from my personal collection and was signed by Robert Smith, Lol Tolhurst, Simon Gallup and Matthieu Hartley in blue pen after the band's show at the Rainbow Theatre in London in May 1980. I bought it from the original owner at a London record fair more than 20 years ago. He offered many signed items by New Wave / Punk bands he had collected in the late 1970s and early 1980s at this particular fair. I have shown this item to many Cure collectors and not a single one has doubted the authenticity of the signatures. 
CONDITION: record: EX (a couple of hairlines, minor surface noise, clean labels, no skips or jumps) cover: VG+ (some handling wear to the edges, a small split to the right seam, the signatures are clearly visible!!)
