THE CRAMPS and HANOI ROCKS 12" 3D Vinyl Records Both 80s Collectibles & in 3D

Psychobilly goth punk rockers The Cramps released a compilation album in 1983, a little over FORTY years ago. They titled it '...Off the Bone', and was originally released in the UK. It was produced by Alex Chilton (of the bands The Box Tops and Big Star). The Cramps was recently back in the spotlight, as the Tim Burton Netflix show 'Wednesday' featured the song "Goo Goo Muck" as the character Wednesday Addams dances around to this awesome song.

'...Off the Bone' was released as a special limited edition picture disc LP that is actually 3D! The artwork on both sides is in (80s) 3D, and with the red and blue glasses, it actually looks pretty cool! This is a limited edition UK import, that came out in 1985. It comes with 3D glasses, but the kind you have to hold up to your eyes. I'll throw in another pair that fits like regular glasses.

Because you'll need the glasses for the SECOND 3D picture disc in this double shot, and this one is from Hanoi Rocks! Hanoi Rocks was a glam and punk(ish) metal band from Finland that began in 1979. They started to get very popular by the 80s, but their drummer Razzle was killed in a car accident with Motley Crue's singer Vince Neil, forty years ago. The band broke up after the accident, but lead singer Michael Monroe and original guitar Andy McCoy put the band back together, for about eight years, in the early 2000s. They have all gone their separate way at this point.

In 1984, Hanoi Rocks released their critically acclaimed album titled 'Two Steps From the Move'. The third single from that great record is called "Don't You Ever Leave Me", and it too, was released on a 3D picture disc! The A side only is 3D. The B side is song titles and credits, and a band pic. This one has a few surface marks on it, mostly on the B side. I can't vouch for the sound quality of either one of these, as I never play specialty vinyl, such as pic discs or colored records. But a really awesome and very cool double shot of 80s 3D picture discs 12" records! Great collectibles to have, and to show off. You may even need to get more 3D glasses!

(RIP to Lux, Nick, and Gregory from The Cramps, and Razzle from Hanoi Rocks. Each of you guys were great musicians, and members of two of rock's most important bands. All four of you are missed...)
