CATALOG NO.: CR-5 Original undated US private pressing
RECORD CONDITION: VG Vinyl disc is very clean and shiny. No scratches. Numerous very light surface marks that do not cause skips. Very light but audible surface noise in some passages. Labels are clean and free of stickers or writing. Very light storage wear.
ORIGINAL INSERTS and/or SLEEVE: Disc shipped in plain paper sleeve.
NOTES: This is a rare private press record from a garage band kind of figuring it out on (what I hope is) their first 7 inch. Where are they from? I can't tell you! "Beat" is a slow and very minimal guitar instrumental with not a lot of interesting things happening if I'm honest and no drums which is rarely a good thing. On the flip, "After Beat" they are going for it as a full band with some upbeat instrumental surf / garage rock. The band sounds oddly hesitant to rock out, which I find charming. Possibly early 60s? but impossible to know, even with the internet (!). Fidelity and expertise are both quite low, but you gotta start somewhere!!!
