Up With People was formed in the turbulent 1960s as a positive voice for young people. Throughout the past 50 years, more than 21,000 young men and women from more than 100 countries have performed, treating audiences to music of good will and hope. Traveling around the world, cast members not only perform, but are given skills in leadership and volunteerism.
The group's well-known theme song, "Up with People" was written by the Colwell brothers, as were a number of iconic songs known by fans of the group. "Where the Road Comes Together" and "Moon Rider" were written by the brothers and co-writer and arranger Allen."
