TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those rare, difficult to find, and highly collectible LP`s by the very early R'n'R/RnB group, The Clovers, from 1957. It is in very good condition - both the vinyl and the jacket - but please read on just the same. This album - the group's very 1st - is self-entitled "The Clovers" and was recorded in 1957 on the red, white, and purple Atlantic Label. All of the titles are visible in the pictures above and the LP does include their biggest hit songs, "Blue Velvet", "Devil Or Angel", and "Lovey, Dovey". All of the songs are in MONO and all are in outstanding shape - and it even comes with an original Atlantic Records inner sleeve that advertises other company LPs (please view all the pictures above). LABEL INFO: This original, Atlantic Label (8009) is in great overall shape with no serious issues at all - in fact, I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also primarily very shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in serious need of any mention, although there is one completely harmless surface line through one song on Side 2 - one that has no effect at all on the album's play. Otherwise, in my opinion the vinyl is nearly perfect. JACKET INFO: Finally, this attractive looking jacket is very clean and nice and is easily the best part of this whole package. I honestly see no real flaws in need of mentioning here at all. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this early and hard to find, highly collectible LP is in very nice condition - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, speeds, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
