THIS IS AN ORIGINAL. NOT A RE-ISSUE.

The Clovers’ debut album originally appeared in Atlantic’s 1200 jazz series, probably by mistake. It was quickly reissued in the 8000 series, causing these early ones to become major collectibles due to the limited number of the original 1200 series release.

THIS IS A VERY RARE AND COLLECTIBLE ALBUM!
VERY FEW OF THEM ARE LEFT. THIS ALBUM SELLS AT COLLECTOR'S CONVENTIONS FOR OVER $300.00.

The jacket has shelf wear, scuffing, staining, and is starting to split a little in a few spots.

The vinyl has a very high sheen - there are scuffs and superficial surface marks. and mild warpage..

One mark over the last two songs on side two, we could feel with our fingers. So...

IT WAS PLAY-TESTED: Sure enough, the last two songs had jumps.

Otherwise there was some popping and crackling, but it did not interfere with our listening enjoyment.

All in all it was pretty quiet on our player. Sounded wonderful to us.

However - this is very subjective. Please ask questions before you bid.
