This auction is for a fantastic 1956 DooWop 45rpm THE CLOSER YOU ARE/NOW YOU KNOW by the CHANNELS on the WHIRLING DISC label. This auction is for the real collectors who want the originals. WHIRLING DISC is in Block Letters. The publisher is listed as Bob Dan Music. In Near Mint this record is listed at $250.00. This record plays fantastic.The only flaw is there's some remnants of a small number label on the Closer You Are side, The Whirling Disc label is not torn but I'm not sure if the remnants of the number label can come off without tearing the record label, see pictures. I'm starting this one at $44.99, which is less than 20% of the NM book value. This is the lowest price that I'll accept for this record.
