Description

Up for auction is a beautifully signed ROCK ON! music magazine page by THE CLASH! All signatures were obtained in person in Berlin (GERMANY) in 1980 while the band performed their first gig here on May 13th at Huxley's Neue Welt. All four members of THE CLASH, Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Topper Headon & Paul Simonon, signed in black marker pen. Mick Jones added "(GTR)" to his signature, which he often did. All signatures are 100% authentic & were obtained by myself. The lucky winner will receive a C.O.A. with this item! The coloured magazine page is still in EXCELLENT condition with no tears or rips. It measures approx. 18,5 x 26,5 cm.

The back side of the CLASH image features a portrait of PHIL LYNOTT frontman of Irish cult band THIN LIZZY. PHIL LYNOTT also signed his image during that period, either on the BLACK ROSE tour or maybe a year later in 1980 during the CHINATOWN tour, which also brought the band back to Germany.
