This is about as good as bootlegs get. Released in 1983, this untitled album, known in collector circles as Red China, compiles a few classic Clash demos along with some rarities. The latter only account for three tracks: “Listen,” “Capitol Radio,” and the interview that closes out Red China. All three can also be found on the Capitol Radio EP. The problem is that you’ll never find that EP, and even if you do you’ll pay through the nose for it.

The rest of Red China is pure demo track goodness, and man do these songs sound great in their rawest form. There’s a good reason that the Clash were The Only Band That Mattered.

Original Pressing, all of the records that I am selling are from my personal collection, not something I bought at a yard sale! I was in the record business for many years in the mid 70's to early 80's. 

I don't smoke, never have, but I do own cats. If that causes issues with you, then please don't bid. My cats have never played any records by themselves, so they are paw free.
